What is FromJump®?

We’re an onboarding tool with daily, bite-sized insights and activities designed to ready newly-hired and newly-promoted leaders like yourself from jump.

We’ll be here with you from day 1 to day 100, helping to launch your leadership journey and guide you on an action-oriented path to navigate these 6 key leadership lanes:

Every day you will receive 1-2 cards that will guide you through the first few months in your new role. 

Woah, did you just say every day?
 

We sure did. You’ll set yourself up for long-term success by being intentional from day 1 and committing to check in with FromJump® every day. Well, except for sick days, vacations, and those just too hectic days (when you have to work in your business and not on your business). When we talk about your first 100 days, that’s on a calendar. So don’t worry, the cards pop up on business days. Lucky you - you get the weekend off. This journey is on your cadence, but it i’s important to stay on top of the daily cards so that they don’t become like a house of cards. 

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time - remember these insight and activity cards are bite-sized for a reason.

There’s that card word again, what are they?

FromJump® cards are like a nudge from a friend saying, “Hey, you might want to pay attention to this!”. Daily FromJump® nudges are provided in the form of an “A” Card and a “B” Card. When you read an “A” card, you'll be given the context for why something is important. When you read a “B” card, you'll be given an activity or assignment to move your leadership success forward.

You mentioned activities. What kind of activities?

These activities will help you LAUNCH with Purpose™. Some examples are: 

• answering open ended reflection questions, 

• leading team meetings, 

• engaging with cross-functional coworkers, 

• building business and product acumen in your organization, or 

• planning more in-depth strategies. 

Through research, we’ve found these activities to be solid foundations for what sets a leader up for success. We can’t make the activities mandatory, but your company and manager are investing in you to be in the driver’s seat of your own onboarding with the expectation that you commit to the 100-day FromJump® journey.

Since my manager is investing in this, how involved will they be? 

Your manager is a key stakeholder in your onboarding journey and your long term success. They won’t be checking over your shoulder, but they are here to support you. Every now and then, FromJump® will nudge you to pull your manager into your onboarding journey through specific activities. 

How will I know how to do these activities? 

Don’t worry, we’ll be giving you templates and tools to help. Many of these templates, like us, are works in progress. So you may go back and review, revisit, and revise. The ‘Tags’ feature in the ‘Program’ button puts each of these templates and tools into folders and the ‘My Data’ button on the bottom of the app contains all of your inputted answers.

How safe is it to jump?

Your inputs and reflections are confidential and will not be shared with your employer (We may provide anonymous group data, but they will not see your individual inputs). We want this experience to be psychologically safe. And, so does your employer - which is why we’re here.
